The St. Johns Farmers Market, located in Portland, OR, is hiring for a part-time, temporary Community Programs Coordinator.
The Community Programs Coordinator will work closely with the the SJFM Community Partnerships Planning Committee to enhance our market voucher program and develop a SNAP-match initiative. They will lead and oversee all aspects of the program including logistics, outreach, fundraising, implementation and evaluation of the CP program throughout the 2015 season.
We are excited to announce that we can now accept donations and sponsorships online via Paypal on our website.
Each season, our sponsors have been committed to supporting the activities and programs of the St. Johns Farmers Market. This has helped us leverage hundreds of volunteer hours, achieve over $10,000 in average weekly sales for our vendors, and contribute to over $706,000 in estimated local economic impact in the St. Johns community.
